Fall Flowers
Oil on board, approx. 1ft X 2ft. This painting is very textured, and it took a long time to paint and dry (it took months for the paint to finally harden!), but the end result was worth it. The painting really does capture the feeling of fall flowers. The reds and yellows warmly glow. For me, this is one of my best paintings flower paintings.
Poppy Serenade
This is an oil painting on board. I love the night time feel of this painting. The blues and the red work well together.
Etched Flowers
This painting was created using an 'etching' process. The picture was first drawn and coloured using oil pastel, and then completely covered with black ink. Once the ink was dry I used a sharp, pointed tool to scratch (or 'etch') through the ink to reveal the colour beneath.
Twilight Flowers
Painted at twilight, using fingers and cloth. Oil on paper, on board.
